Looking forward to a new season

After enjoying a break, its always a busy time of year for coaches, confirming numbers and registering players with the existing teams, checking rule changes, refreshing training equipment, making sure there are enough strips and planning the training programme for the season ahead.

As a club its always a time of transition as we look to introduce the next generation of players and coaches for the Under 6 and 7's. Our aim is to introduce a new team every year but it's an uncertain time as we may have lots of interest from players but no coaches or a coach but not many players!

Last year we we're really delighted to get an U7 (now U8) team established and a parent through the FA coaching course.

Great news is that we also have a parent volunteer who is happy to help with a new U7 group this season. Hopefully we can attract enough players to form a sustainable group and maybe even a team. If you have a child going into year 2 from September, get in touch and give it a try.
